132 questionnaire respondents stated they would use picnic tables if they were available on the recreation ground. Evidence that parents/families are picnicking when children are on the Playspace and Toddler play area and would use picnic tables if they were there. Playspace users have been actively requesting picnic tables be provided.
Children have suggested that a village garden be created with a gardening club so they can help to look after it.
53% of questionnaire respondents stated they would like more planters and flowers in the village. The results of the best kept village competition mention that the planters are nice at one end of the village.
165 questionnaire respondents stated that they would use a tea room if it was available.
61 questionnaire respondents stated they would use a lending library/ book exchange. 14 questionnaire respondents stated they would be willing to help organise the above. Children said they would like a village library “in a trolley” with a good section for 9-13 year olds.
