The process of improving the sports field is now in implementation stage.
Following the success of Phases 1 and 2 (new playspaces) this summer, ORG have moved onto Phase 3 of improving the recreation ground space. After much discussion since early summer and lots of hard work doing the research and pulling all the information together into a comprehensive document, the proposal for this went to the PC early November.
The Parish Council have now approved the proposal and circa £1k net funding needed to create a safe and fun area on the grass recreation field sorted by early summer 2012 – the idea for which emerged from the outcome of the Village Plan process (Project 10a).
A full copy of the proposal and progress reports can be found on the project website

The brief is being handled in three phases:
• Phase 1 – provide challenging play equipment for the older children – now complete
• Phase 2 – revamp the existing toddler/junior play facility – now complete
• Phase 3 – provide other recreational facilities – next step now underway
