On Saturday 10th April, the village bade a fond farewell to Oxton postman, Dave. After working for Royal Mail for 43 years, 42 of those in Oxton, Dave has taken the decision to retire. Jill Jones (parishioner) and Gill Gibson (Oxton PO) met with Dave to convey Parishioners thanks for his many years of service in Oxton. No doubt we will occasionally see him and his partner, Hazel, at the Green Dragon enjoying a pint or two. All best wishes Dave, you will be sorely missed. Enjoy your new adventure!
