The children of Oxton have been out daffodil planting again. This is the third year in a row and I’m sure you’ll agree the village really benefits from the daffodils.
This year the planting spot was the fence either side of the entrance to the small kids play area. The children (and their Mums) are really looking forward Spring when their hard work will bloom into being.
Thanks go to Michelle Mean for organising the purchase and planting, and Oxton Parish Council for permission to plant on Parish Council land and gifting £70 towards the cost of bulbs.
