Wednesday 13th November 7pm – 9pm in the Snug at the Old Green Dragon
What sort of things can be ‘upcycled’? Anything that can be attached to a wire! So, if you have a box/drawer of old beads, broken jewellery, buttons, bottle tops, bits of chain or ceramic, fabric and other oddments and bits then you can potentially transform them into something creative and wearable with the guidance of Steph from The Bead Shop in Nottingham – for yourself or as an interesting, hand-made Christmas gift.
There should be time during the 2hr session for 1 big piece like a necklace, or 2 smaller pieces such as a bracelet and a pair of earrings, depending on how complicated the designs you go for.
Cost per person will depend on group size as the workshop costs a fixed fee of £150 for tutor time, tools and materials (eg glues, wires, clasps, other beads) – so estimate for group of 18 (maximum group size) would be £8.50 per person – more if less people attend (e.g. if 10 people attended then it would work out at £15 per per person).
