Another sell out!

Another Projection House sell out! All 80 tickets for the showing of QUARTET on Saturday 28th September were sold showing that there is a great appetite for good films being shown in HD with a new state of the art sound system in the comfortable surroundings of Oxton Village Hall. Those present agreed that the new surround sound system was fantastic and added greatly to the enjoyment of the evening.

The audience also enjoyed pre showing and interval drinks, snacks and canapés on their tables during the film.

The showing of QUARTET was preceded by a showing of HUGO which was greatly enjoyed by the somewhat smaller, but no less discerning, audience of children and adults as they watched the enchanting tale of a young boy repairing a broken automaton and thereby finding the original creator.

Once again our thanks go to the small band of dedicated volunteers who work very hard to arrange and present these performances.

We would also like to thank Simon Ashmore and Adrian Todd for specifying the new sound system in the village hall, Ian Kilpatrick and Adrian Todd for installing the equipment over many days and nights of hard work and last but not least to the Oxton Village Hall Committee for agreeing to fund this fantastic addition to the hall.
