The Projection House present: Brave

On Saturday the 2nd February 2013 The Projection House team will kick off their second year of films with a Scottish themed night, with a nod to Robert Burns.

We will be showing the latest acclaimed animated film from Pixar, BRAVE (PG), starring the voices of Billy Connolly, Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters and Robbie Coltrane.

This family friendly film is set in medieval Scotland and charts the tale of a princess growing up in a male dominated society. Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom, and must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

The film will be shown on a large brand new screen with a superb sound system in the comfortable surroundings of Oxton Village Hall.

After the film we will be serving a meal of Haggis, tatties and neaps with alternative mince and vegetarian options. There will be a licensed bar and other refreshments will be available. There will also be a Scottish themed quiz for all the family.

Doors open at 6.00 pm, film starts at 6.30 pm and the food will be served at 8.30 pm.

Tickets at £5 each include the film and the food.

Tickets are available in advance from the Oxton Village Shop, Ethel Cottee on 0115 9653477 or Roy Walker on 0115 9653595.

Tickets on the day, if available, will incur an additional cost of £1.
